This year’s Belgrade Book Fair will take place at the Belgrade Fair from 23rd to 31st October.

For decades, the International Belgrade Book Fair has occupied a central place in the cultural calendar of South-East Europe. The region’s largest event dedicated to books is devoted to promoting literary creativity and education, fostering cultural exchange with other countries, and raising current literary and social issues.

Informally known as a celebration of books, the Book Fair welcomes the most prominent Serbian writers and numerous international authors and publishers every year, who present both their backlist titles and their latest publications.

An important feature of the Book Fair is its rich programme of accompanying events. Through numerous book launches, presentations, lectures, round-table discussions and panel sessions, participants address a wide range of issues of importance to literature, publishing and culture, presenting them to both professionals and the wider public.
