DANVILLE, Ind. — Three people were arrested on drug-related charges during separate traffic stops in Danville Wednesday evening, according to the Danville Police Department.

Police said the three arrests occurred within about four hours at different locations throughout town. Officers reported finding suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and syringes during the investigations.

Around 6:52 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Sheila Ann Dillehay of Brownsburg.

Police said officers found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during the traffic stop.

Dillehay was arrested and preliminarily charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

Around 10:03 p.m., officers stopped another vehicle in the 800 block of East Main Street.

Police said officers found suspected methamphetamine and syringes during the investigation.

Robin David Walters, 60, of Avon, was arrested and preliminarily charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony; unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony; and identity deception, a Level 6 felony.

About an hour later, at 11:09 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop near U.S. 36 and County Road 200 East.

Police said officers found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The driver, 31-year-old Shelbie Ann Nicole Morris of Indianapolis, was arrested and preliminarily charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

All three cases remain pending in court. The charges are preliminary, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

The Danville Police Department said the arrests are part of its ongoing efforts to address illegal drug activity through patrols, traffic enforcement and investigations.
