Singer Tinashe reveals why she wouldn’t date a ‘broke man’

Tinashe has set her priorities when it comes to dating.

The Me So Bad singer, 32, recently appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she revealed that she will never date a broke man.

“Girl, I’m not going to lie. There was a couple times I was taking cash out of the ATM. I was like, ‘Here you go,” explained Tinashe.

“I was p*****, too. And I was like, ‘I’m never doing this again.’ That’s why I wrote a song about it. Don’t do it again,” she added.

For those unaware, Tinashe is currently busy promoting her upcoming eighth studio album, Popstar. The long-awaited album will be dropped on September 25.

Talking about her new album, the singer said that she feels the record reflects her real-life self.

“I wanted to put out a body of work that represented all of the things that make me, me,” said Tinashe.

“I don’t subscribe to like one particular sound, one particular genre. I’ve made records on this project that feel like dance records, like hip-hop records, added the No Drama hitmaker.
