GREENWOOD, Ind. — Buc-ee’s is now officially on its way to Indiana!

The Greenwood Common Council voted 7 – 2 Monday night to approve plans to bring the popular travel center to the city.
Buc-ee’s is planned for the intersection of I-65 and Worthsville Road.

It is expected to be 74,000 square feet with around 120 fueling stations and 42 EV chargers.
Developers say the Buc-ee’s will employ 175 to 225 people

Critics are concerned about the increase in traffic around the site. But leaders with Buc-ee’s say the gas station is planning on making $13 million dollars worth of traffic improvements in the area.
Construction is expected to be done in 2028.
