RIO RANCHO, N.M. – Rio Rancho’s Oktoberfest brought the community together with live music, German brats, beer, polka dancing and family-friendly competitions.
The yearly tradition gave people in Rio Rancho a family-friendly evening downtown.
The Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce brought the event back 11 years ago after people in the City of Vision asked for it to return.
Now the event gives people a chance to enjoy food and drinks along with live polka dancing and fun competitions.
Local breweries including Brew Lab 101 were on site pouring their most popular brews.
The event continued a long-running community tradition in Rio Rancho.
