Dragons tally 3-1 win against Spartans

Warren Central’s boys’ soccer team earned a 3-1 road victory against District 14 rival South Warren on Thursday night.
Mmunga Hamisi, Yaye Kayanda and Wasoo Shindano each scored a goal for the Dragons. Andrew Menjivar finished with two assists and Daudi Kaburu also had an assist in the win.
Goalkeeper Maombi Wilonja made four saves for Warren Central (9-2-1 overall, 3-2 District 14), which travels to district foe Greenwood on Tuesday.
South Warren (6-3-3, 3-2 District 14) visits district rival Bowling Green on Tuesday.
Logan County 4, Warren East 2
Sebastian Hernandez scored two goals and added an assist to lead host Logan County to a 4-2 win against Warren East on Thursday.

Asher Woodall and Layne Harris also scored goals for the Cougars. Jaime Godino Perejon added an assist.
Goalkeeper James Aydan Bryan finished with seven saves for Logan County (8-7-1), which hosts Edmonson County on Saturday.
Warren East (1-12) visits District 15 rival Allen County-Scottsville on Tuesday.
Girls’ soccer
Edmonson County 4, Butler County 0
Hayden Hayes tallied two goals and an assist to spark visiting Edmonson County to a 4-0 win against District 12 rival Butler County on Thursday.
Lillian Lindsey chipped in with a goal and an assist, and Ellie Spainhoward also scored a goal for the Lady Cats.
Goalkeeper Haley Shields totaled eight saves for Edmonson County (3-9, 2-2 District 12), which hosts Breckinridge County on Tuesday.
Butler County (0-9, 0-4 District 12) visits Meade County on Tuesday.
Logan County 4, Northeast 1
Elizabeth Veigel notched a pair of goals to propel homestanding Logan County to a 4-1 win against Clarksville (Tennessee) Northeast on Thursday.
Layla Piper and Caroline Boortz also scored a goal apiece for the Lady Cougars, with Samara Corbin and Harley Cowan each adding an assist.
Goalkeeper Lucy Violette finished with five saves for Logan County (6-5), which travels to Russell County on Saturday.
