The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan has presented a test version of IDyikan app designed for farmers and agricultural producers.

According to the ministry, IDyikan is a unified platform aimed at simplifying interaction between farmers and the government by bringing together government services and digital agricultural services. The app is being developed by the ministry’s state institution AgroSmart.

The platform’s main goal is to enable farmers to access necessary government services in one place, conveniently and promptly. Farmers will be able to use digital services, submit applications online and track the status of their applications.

Animal registration, electronic fishing permits, online applications for concessional loans and a number of other services have already been digitized.

The ministry plans to digitize the issuance of certificates, licenses and permits, as well as services related to irrigation water and subsidized seeds. This will simplify farmers’ interactions with government agencies and allow them to access necessary services remotely.

Another key area in the development of the IDyikan platform is the creation of unified digital registers. They will consolidate data on farmers, farms, land plots, livestock, machinery and other assets in the agricultural sector.
