The National University of Lesotho is currently hosting a two-day academic conference to commemorate Lesotho’s 60 years of independence.
The conference, which starts today and ends tomorrow, was organised by the Department of Political and Administrative Studies. It brings together scholars, policymakers, civil society and development practitioners to reflect on the country’s achievements, challenges and future prospects.
Discussions will cover governance, economic development, youth unemployment, gender, democracy, education, security, culture, national heritage and foreign relations.
