LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Last December, CBS Sports Analyst Jon Rothstein made a promise to Husker fans and Nebraska men’s basketball head coach Fred Hoiberg.
The promise was that if the men’s basketball team won a NCAA Tournament game, Rothstein would buy Husker fans drinks.
The long-awaited day has finally come. Gate 25, a local bar and restaurant, is hosting the event. Husker Happy Hour will run from 5 to 6 p.m., right before the Nebraska and Creighton volleyball match.
This morning on social media, Gate 25 revealed an important rule for fans coming to their bar.
“Looking forward to Nebraska beating the Bluejays. We won’t be serving anyone in blue from 5 to 6,” Gate 25 said.
