Divers locate body of man who fell overboard in harbor | Talanei
A man in his late 40’s fell overboard from a purse seine that was docked at the main dock in Fagatogo around 2 am last Friday.
According to the Director of the Department of Search and Rescue Utumoe Alefosio Marine Patrol conducted a search for the man however he could not be located and the search was called off. He said around 9am Friday private divers located the man’s body on the ocean floor around the vicinity of the dock area.
An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding how he fell from the vessel.
