A motorcyclist died in a crash in the northwest valley early Saturday morning, police said.

The crash happened at 12:13 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Craig Road at Interstate 11, the Nevada Highway Patrol said in a statement.

The crash involved two vehicles — a sport utility and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider (an adult male) died at the scene, police said.

Road Closures: Craig Road westbound at I-11 is closed. The Intersection of I-11 at Craig Road has been shut down, including all on and off ramps.
