A major pan-European ‘anti-racist’ NGO has announced that it is taking EU grant-making authorities to court after a decision to cut its lucrative funding – a decision that lands against a backdrop of years of claims, from a French government report and from MEPs, that the organisation operates in close proximity to groups linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.
ENAR, or the European Network Against Racism, an umbrella organisation for anti-racist groups across Europe, made the announcement Monday on its social media describing that the grant termination would force them to shut their doors within the year if not remedied.
