Stratum/PPCL Rewa FC will be aiming to take another step towards a record 10th Battle of the Giants title when they face Nasinu FC in the second semi-final at Govind Park this Saturday.

The Delta Tigers topped Group B with six points after wins over Lautoka and hosts Ba, before a 1-0 loss to Nadi in their final pool match.

Rewa will rely on its experienced squad, including players who featured in the OFC Men’s Champions League, as player-coach Ratu Tevita Waranivalu looks to guide his side into the final.

Nasinu, meanwhile, enters the knockout stage with growing confidence after recovering from an opening loss to Labasa with wins over Navua and Suva.

The Giant Killers are appearing in their first BOG semi-final since 2019 and will be determined to cause another upset against nine-time champions Rewa.

The second semi-final kicks off at 4.30pm this Saturday at Four R Stadium in Govind Park, Ba.
