Power, efficiency and electric mobility take centre stage as the All-New Honda ZR-V and Honda Super-ONE EV officially arrive in Brunei, bringing a bold new SUV and a new approach to e-mobility to the local market.
The two models were unveiled at an exclusive launch event hosted by Happy Motoring Co Sdn Bhd, representing Honda Brunei, on 5 September 2026 at the Honda Showroom in Gadong.

The simultaneous introduction showcases two different expressions of Honda’s latest vehicle technology, with the ZR-V combining sophisticated SUV styling with advanced hybrid performance, while the Super-ONE EV brings compact dimensions, energetic styling and fully electric mobility to the local market.
The models were unveiled by Happy Motoring’s General Manager Mark Yong and Honda Brunei Aftersales Manager Pengiran Shahrul bin PHA Rahman.
ZR-V: Sophisticated SUV, intelligent hybrid performance
Designed with discernment and built with purpose, the All-New Honda ZR-V introduces a premium SUV experience combining sophisticated design, everyday practicality and Honda’s advanced hybrid technology.
At the heart of the ZR-V is an advanced 2.0-litre powertrain engineered to transition seamlessly between Electric Vehicle Drive, Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive according to driving conditions.

The system produces a maximum system output of 135 kW (184 PS), while the electric motor delivers up to 315 Nm of torque.
This combination provides smooth and responsive acceleration while maintaining a rated fuel consumption of 5.7 litres per 100 kilometres.
The ZR-V’s hybrid powertrain is designed to provide a balance between performance and efficiency, making it suitable for everyday urban driving as well as longer journeys.

Technology and comfort
Inside, the ZR-V combines modern technology with features designed to enhance everyday comfort and convenience.
The cabin is equipped with a 9-inch Display Audio and a 10.2-inch Full Digital Driver Information Display, providing drivers with clear access to key vehicle information and functions.

A BOSE 12-speaker Premium Sound System delivers an enhanced audio experience, while wireless charging provides added convenience for compatible devices.
The ZR-V also features dual-zone climate control and body-stabilising seats, designed to provide greater comfort for occupants during daily driving and longer journeys.
For added practicality, the model is equipped with a hands-free power tailgate, making it easier to access the rear cargo area when carrying items.
Safety remains a key part of the ZR-V, with Honda SENSING providing a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance technologies.
Which include Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Blind Spot Information and Lead Car Departure Notification.
Together, these systems are designed to provide added awareness and support for drivers across a range of driving conditions.
Super-ONE EV: Compact eMobility
Making its debut alongside the ZR-V was the Honda Super-ONE EV, a compact electric vehicle created to bring a fresh sense of energy and enjoyment to urban mobility.
Compact in size yet bold in presence, the Super-ONE features distinctive circular LED headlamps, blister fenders and 15-inch alloy wheels.

Its confident, planted stance gives the compact EV a distinctive road presence while reflecting its focus on urban driving.
The Super-ONE EV combines efficient electric mobility with an emphasis on making the driving experience engaging and enjoyable.
Powered by a 29.6 kWh lithium-ion battery, the Super-ONE EV produces 70 kW (95 PS) and 162 Nm of torque, with a stated driving range of 202 kilometres.
Driving modes for every mood
The Super-ONE EV allows drivers to select from five driving modes: ECON, CITY, NORMAL, SPORT and BOOST.
The different modes are designed to suit different driving environments and driving preferences, giving drivers the ability to adjust the character of the vehicle according to their needs.

ECON focuses on efficiency, while CITY is suited to urban environments. NORMAL provides a balanced driving experience, with SPORT and BOOST offering a more energetic character.
BOOST Mode delivers the vehicle’s full 70 kW output, while the Super-ONE also features a simulated seven-speed transmission and Active Sound Control to enhance the driving experience.

CITY Mode further supports urban driving with single-pedal driving, allowing the driver to accelerate, decelerate, stop and engage brake hold using the accelerator pedal.
The range of selectable modes adds an element of personalisation to the Super-ONE EV, complementing its compact dimensions and fully electric powertrain.

The Super-ONE EV is equipped with a 9-inch Display Audio system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, alongside a BOSE 8-speaker premium sound system.
Smart Entry with One-Push Start adds convenience, while Active Sound Control complements the vehicle’s engaging driving character.

Safety features include Honda SENSING, six airbags, front and rear parking sensors and a rear-wide camera.
The Super-ONE EV also comes equipped with Vehicle Stability Assist and Hill Start Assist, providing additional support and confidence during everyday driving.
