Senior director Mahesh Chandra, known for Preyasi Raave, is back with his latest film, Pithapuramlo… Ala Modalaindi.

The film is set for a grand worldwide release on September 18, with leading production house Prime Show Entertainment handling its release.

Starring Dr Rajendra Prasad, Prithviraj, Kedar Shankar, Manichandana, Annapurnamma, Sunny Akhil, Virat, Jr Pawan Kalyan, Sai Praneeth, Srilu, Pratyusha, Rehana and others, the film blends love, subtle humour, sentiment and the emotional bond between a father and daughter.

Mahesh Chandra says the film is rooted in natural characters and everyday incidents, while also carrying a strong message for today’s youth.

The voice-over by Brahmanandam is said to be one of the special attractions, while noted sculptor Raj Kumar Vadayar plays a key role.

The film is jointly produced by Mahesh Chandra Cinema Team and Ever Green Epic Cinema, with Dundigalla Balakrishna, Akula Suresh Patel and F.M. Murali (Godari Kittayya) serving as producers.

Telugu audiences have been encouraging quality films in the family-drama space, and Pithapuramlo… Ala Modalaindi fits well into this category. With its mix of emotions, humour and family values, the film has the potential to appeal to a wider section of the audience.

The trailer and two songs released so far have already received a positive response.
