Locals gathered at Tractor Brewing for the second annual For the Love of Lymphoma fundraiser, bringing live music, a car show and vendors together for a good cause.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Locals gathered at Tractor Brewing for the second annual For the Love of Lymphoma fundraiser, bringing live music, a car show and vendors together for a good cause.

The holiday weekend event centered on raising money for Blood Cancer United, which supports blood cancer research, advocacy and education.

Founder Stacia King-Sakya started the event after facing treatment for lymphoma and later turning to her community for support.

“In my diagnosis in 20-21 and my relapse in 20-25 I called on my community to help me and they all pulled through and it’s just very heart warming and its just amazing to pull all of these talented people together in one spot,” said King-Sakya.

King-Sakya now uses the fundraiser to give back by bringing the community together at Tractor Brewing for music, cars and local vendors.

The second annual event supported Blood Cancer United and its work in research, advocacy and education.
