Little Rina from Toamua has won the inaugural Measina Festival Fautasi Longboats Race after a thrilling five-mile race in choppy and windy conditions.
Led by captain Matuaotofiga Faagalu Fonoti, Little Rina made a strong start and took an early lead.
Telefoni ole Va-i-Nuu from Manono-Tai put up a strong challenge, but Little Rina managed to hold on to the lead and crossed the finish line first.
Despite the strong headwind and drizzle, both boats battled hard in the final stretch around Mulinu’u.

3. Tava’esina – Salua, Manono
4. Apia Maroons 2 – Apia
5. Aviivii – Toamua
