Gross domestic product in the second quarter of this year grew by 4.3 percent, compared to the same period in 2025, the State Statistical Bureau (DZS) announced.

In the second quarter of 2026, large increase was recorded in the construction sector – by 21.9% and by 5.1% in the sector: arts, entertainment and recreation.

Final consumption in the second quarter of 2026 nominally grew by 7 percent, and its share in the structure of gross domestic product is 83.2%. Gross investments in the second quarter of 2026 nominally grew by 14.5% as a result of the increase in gross investments in fixed assets.

According to seasonally and calendar adjusted data, the growth rate of gross domestic product in the second quarter of 2026, compared to the second quarter of 2025, is 4 percent.
