One of the most vibrant parts of the program of the VI World Nomad Games has unfolded at Kyrchyn venue. Traditional culture came alive before thousands of spectators, from yurts and national clothing to equestrian processions, music, crafts and theatrical performances.

Guests were welcomed in an ethnocultural village with yurts, national ornaments and participants dressed in traditional costumes. Folk music filled the venue, while craft areas, demonstrations and large-scale performances were held throughout the day.

One of the central highlights was an equestrian procession. Riders in traditional costumes entered the arena carrying Kyrgyz flags, while packed stands watched the spectacle. Many spectators wore national headwear and clothing, making the audience itself part of the shared ethnocultural setting.

The arena hosted scenes depicting nomadic life, elements of traditional rituals, horsemanship and imagery associated with the everyday life and worldview of the Kyrgyz people. Historical costumes, weapons, musical instruments and stage decorations were used in the performances.

Craftsmen and artisans also drew particular attention. Visitors were shown metalworking and traditional techniques that have been used in the everyday life of nomadic communities for centuries.

These days, Kyrchyn has become more than just a venue for the World Nomad Games. It has turned into a vast living backdrop where a modern festival merges with the image of a traditional Kyrgyz village, or aiyl.

Thousands of spectators filmed the events on their phones and cameras. The stands brought together visitors of different ages and from different countries, while Kyrgyz flags became one of the day’s main visual symbols.

The VI World Nomad Games continue to bring participants and visitors together around traditional sports, culture and the heritage of nomadic peoples.
