ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — George Strait is coming to Albuquerque to headline Boots in the Park as the country music festival returns with a stacked lineup in May 2027.
Strait’s Albuquerque show is the only festival performance he has scheduled for 2027. It’ll be his first New Mexico show since 2013 and first festival show since 2021.
“New Mexico, it’s been way too long,” Strait stated in a press release. “While I’m not sure where else this next year will take us, I do know we can’t wait to see everyone at Boots In The Park next May.”
Strait is known for classics such as “Amarillo by Morning”, “Check Yes or No” and others. His career spans four decades and is one of the most successful and enduring in music history.
Brooks & Dunn, Jason Aldean, Zach Top and Jon Pardi will join Strait for the upcoming Boots in the Park. Promoters expand the festival to three days, May 14-16, 2027.

Expanding Boots In The Park to three days and bringing George Strait, Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Zach Top, Jon Pardi and more together on one lineup is an incredible moment for country music fans. This is going to be one unforgettable weekend.”
In 2026, Boots in the Park drew more than 60,000 fans with headliners Post Malone, Jelly Roll and Koe Wetzel. In 2027, promoters are bringing back the line dancing and lessons, whiskey tasting, cornhole, mechanical bull riding, cooking demos and more to go with the music.
Tickets will go on presale Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. MT. General ticket sales begin Friday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. MT.
