Arab African International Bank posts highest first-half net profit in five years at $202.8m

Arab African International Bank (AAIB) recorded its highest first-half net profit in five years, reaching $202.8m for the first half of 2026, representing a 27% increase compared with the same period in 2025.

The bank stated that it continued to deliver a strong performance during the first half of the year, strengthening its balance sheet supported by solid growth across its loan portfolio.

According to the bank, corporate and retail loans increased by 16% compared with December 2025. AAIB noted that this increase reflects its continued support for its customers and the sustained growth of its business.
