This information was announced by the Executive Branch institution via social media.
“The PCM submitted to the Chamber of Deputies the bill seeking the delegation of legislative powers, which includes 66 requests aimed at boosting measures to strengthen public management and address the country’s main priorities,” it said.
This law aims to delegate to the Executive Branch the authority to legislate on various matters for a period of 120 calendar days.
These are:
-Criminal law, criminal procedure, enforcement of criminal sentences, police matters, citizen security, internal order, penitentiary matters, and migration.
-Micro and small enterprises.
-Labor and employment promotion.
-Administrative simplification, elimination of bureaucratic barriers, regulatory quality, and digital transformation.
-Productive development, innovation, agriculture and irrigation, water resources, hydraulic infrastructure, fisheries, aquaculture, mining, tourism, hydrocarbons, electricity, environmental matters, natural resources, and industrial productive infrastructure.
-Tax, customs, trade facilitation, and trade agreement implementation matters.
-Structural reform, organization, State modernization, and civil service.
-Housing and sanitation.
The document, submitted to the Chamber of Deputies’ clerk’s office, bears the signatures of President Keiko Fujimori and Prime Minister Luis Galarreta.
