The device pairs wirelessly with the MyDyson app to automate styling routines. Users complete a quiz about their hair type, skill level and styling goals, and the machine adjusts heat and airflow settings accordingly while managing the timing for wrapping, styling and setting curls.
How does it work?
It uses what the manufacturer describes as the Coanda effect to style hair with air rather than extreme heat. An internal motor spinning at 110,000 rpm creates enough pressure to wrap hair around the barrel automatically.
