Several Upper Valley residents put in the work and showcased their skills at the New Hampshire Senior Games track and field meet on Sunday in Manchester.

Valerie Thompson, Kristina Downey, Kenneth Allgair, David Brooker, Francis O’Donnell and Richard Abel, all of Lebanon, and Zane Rodriguez of Norwich competed at the games at Manchester Memorial High School.

In addition to representing the Upper Valley, the septet is made up of members of Thor’s Stone Athletic Club. The club was created in 2010 by former Dartmouth track and field coach Carl Wallin and offers individuals a chance to learn from the former Big Green coach at no cost.

“They all competed at a high level with great results,” Wallin wrote in an email.

Results

Thompson: Women’s discus 65-69 (1st/21.33m); Women’s shot put 65-59 (1st/8.27m); Women’s weight throw 65-69 (1st/9.13m); Women’s Javelin 65-59 (4th/13.67m).

Downey: Women’s 50 dash 35-39 (1st/12.49); Women’s shot put 35-39 (1st/6.82m).

Allgair: Men’s discus 50-54 (1st/43.31); Men’s shot put 50-54 (1st/9.92m); Men’s weight throw 50-54 (1st/12.59m).

Brooker: Men’s weight throw 80-84 (1st/7.44m); Men’s shot put 80-84 (6th/6.61m).

O’Donnell: Men’s weight throw 70-74 (1st/9.74m); Men’s discus throw 70-74 (2nd/24.13m); Men’s shot put 70-74 (2nd/9.19m).

Abel: Men’s shot put 75-79 (6th/6.74m).

Rodriguez: Men’s javelin 65-69 (1st/47.46m).
