Everett police detectives investigate body found near Silver Lake

EVERETT — Detectives are investigating after a man was found dead near Silver Lake in Everett on Monday morning.

Officers responded around 8:30 a.m. after someone reported finding the man’s body near Silver Lake, the Everett Police Department said in a post on social media.

Detectives responded to the scene, but at this time, Everett police said the death does not appear suspicious.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of the man’s death.

An active investigation is underway.
