NEW MEXICO – Scattered storms could become more widespread across northeastern New Mexico on Sunday. Isolated flash flooding may also occur.
Smoke from wildfires will continue to affect air quality across parts of northern New Mexico through the weekend.
Some parts of the state on Sunday may come down by a degree or two compared to Saturday.
Heading into next week, a warmer and drier outlook is expected as ridging builds back over the Desert Southwest, although some areas may have daily isolated rain chances especially eastern New Mexico towards the end of the work week.
