LETTER: Senate candidate a long way from home

As a South Dakota resident, Carol Hafner, who is running to represent Alaska in the U.S. Senate, can use her knowledge of South Dakota agriculture to help Alaska. She will be able to improve Alaska’s cattle, hog and poultry production. She can help Alaskans with growing corn, soybeans and wheat. Unfortunately, she knows nothing about our fishing industry but over time, we can teach her.
She needs every vote because as a resident of South Dakota, she can’t register to vote in Alaska. As comedian Pat Paulsen said, “Vote early and often.”
