A group of farmers from the Strumica region came out in protest against the low prices of peppers. SDSM came out today with a statement in their support, saying that the prices of 25 denars per kilogram are not sustainable.

VMRO-DPMNE responded to SDSM to note that “as we know well, among the largest buyers of peppers in the region is Mamas Ajvar, owned by Zoran Zaev. Another question is whether there is political involvement in consciously and intentionally keeping the purchase prices low so that SDS has a political benefit while Zoran Zaev, together with Venko Filipce, enjoys the million-dollar yacht on the Aegean Sea”, said VMRO-DPMNE.

During his rule through SDSM, Zaev solidified his position as head of a number of regional businesses in Strumica, including the trade with agricultural products.
