Jakarta, IO – Amartha Financial (Amartha) will once again hold its annual running event and festival, Amartha 10X Run, on Sept. 6, at the East Parking Plaza of Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta. In collaboration with event organizer Indonesia Muda Road Runner (IMRR), Amartha will offer 10K and half marathon categories designed to provide a safe, comfortable and memorable race experience. Carrying the theme #WeGoBeyond, Amartha 10X Run invites participants to view sports as a personal journey of growth and pushing beyond their limits.

Amartha 10X Run is not only a race to cross the finish line, but also a celebration of every step in the journey of personal growth. This concept is reflected through various elements inspired by everyday Indonesian life, including a traditional market-themed race village where runners can take home fresh vegetables and even betta fish after completing the race.
Local women from surrounding communities will also line the course to cheer on participants, symbolizing the resilience of millions of women entrepreneurs in rural Indonesia who continue to build businesses, create opportunities and achieve sustainable prosperity for their families and communities.
The 2026 Amartha 10X Run route will start and finish at the East Parking Plaza of Gelora Bung Karno. Participants in both the 10K and half marathon categories will pass along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman and the Hotel Indonesia roundabout. The half marathon route will extend through Senopati, Prapanca and Blok M before returning to the finish line. The cut-off time is set at two hours for the 10K race and four hours for the half marathon.
To ensure safety and comfort for both runners and road users, Amartha has partnered with IMRR to establish a comprehensive race safety system along the route, including eight ambulances equipped with automated external defibrillators (AEDs), medical personnel stationed every two kilometers and race marshals positioned every 100 meters, particularly at intersections.
Along the course, participants will have access to 10 water stations and fruit stations to help maintain hydration and energy levels throughout the race. Runners will also encounter refreshments and special surprises at various points along the route, creating an experience distinct from typical running events.

“A great race is not measured only by the excitement at the start and finish lines, but also by the sense of security participants feel throughout the course. That is why we carefully prepare every aspect of the event so runners can enjoy the race, maintain their pace and focus on achieving their personal goals,” said Satrio Guardian, Race Director of IMRR, the organizing partner for Amartha 10X Run 2026.
Meanwhile, sports enthusiast Stena Wakkary said every runner has a different goal and personal definition of going beyond.
“For some people, going beyond means completing their first race, running farther than before or improving their personal best time. Whatever the goal, the most important thing is having the courage to start, training consistently and enjoying every bit of progress. Preparation should also include adequate rest, hydration, nutrition and attention to one’s physical condition so participants can race safely and confidently,” Stena said.
Sheldon added that Amartha 10X Run will also recognize runners with outstanding performances.
“We want the spirit of going beyond to extend all the way to the finish line. That is why this year we are offering a total prize pool of Rp200 million for winners across various categories.
