North Korea could soon send a dedicated missile unit to a western Russian region bordering Ukraine, according to Kyiv’s military intelligence agency, amid increasing reports that Pyongyang plans to ramp up military assistance to Moscow.

“The aggressor state Russia intends to deploy a North Korean missile unit in the Voronezh region that will be equipped with six launchers and 120 missiles from the DPRK,” the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) said on Telegram Wednesday.
