E360 000 Boost for Green Mamba

Green Mamba has received a major financial boost from three local companies ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The Correctional Services side got E360 000 in sponsorship from Jenny Internet E200 000, Galitos E100 000 and Emlembe Beverages E60 000.

The announcement was made during a joint event held at the Matsapha Lifestyle Galitos branch on Wednesday.

Jenny Internet Services Marketing Manager Nkosinathi Dlamini said they are proud to partner with the green and white ensemble.

“We are pleased to partner with Green Mamba. We hope the money will assist them during their continental run,” he said.

Galitos and Emlembe representatives Goodness Shongwe and Ncobile Sibandze both pledged their continued support to the team.
Green Mamba Vice Chairman Mandla Sibiya thanked the three companies for the backing.

“We are grateful for the support of the three companies and their assistance will help us to perform well during the new season locally and internationally,” he said.

The event was attended by Green Mamba Management Committee members.

The team recently announced a new technical bench headed by former Rangers coach Mthunzi Ginindza.

The new bench also comprises veteran coach Dumisani ‘DU’ Makhanya, who is the Technical Director.

Green Mamba qualified to represent Eswatini in the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup after finishing as runners-up in the SMVAF Ingwenyama Cup last season.

Eswatini clubs often face financial challenges when competing in Africa due to travel, accommodation and hosting costs. Corporate sponsorships are therefore critical for teams to be competitive on the continental stage.

This is not the first time Jenny Internet, Galitos and Emlembe Beverages have supported local sport, with all three brands having a history of backing community and sports initiatives.
