The two-week Climate Art Seminar: Loss and Damage ended last Friday with a Showcase Night. The seminar and the closing program were sponsored by the youth NGO Jo-Jikum.

During the event, the youth participants shared their artwork and performances about climate change, adaptation, and Marshallese culture. Families, partners, stakeholders, and community members came to support and celebrate their work.

A special part of this year’s seminar was the participation of youth with disabilities. This was the first time they joined the summer Climate Art Seminar, making the program more inclusive and giving everyone a chance to share their ideas and talents.

Jo-Jikum staff thanked everyone who attended and supported the event, especially our youth participants for their hard work and creativity throughout the two-week seminar.
