Golmaal 5 Eyes December 4 Slot? Prabhas’ Fauzi’s Hindi Battle Gets Bigger

Prabhas’ pan-Indian romantic war action drama Fauzi is officially set to hit theatres on December 3, 2026. However, the film’s box office battle has now become even more interesting following a major reshuffle in the Hindi release calendar.

According to the latest reports, Ajay Devgn’s Ranger has been postponed to 2027, with Golmaal 5 taking over its December 4, 2026 release slot. Although the number of releases remains unchanged, the competition has undoubtedly become tougher, as Golmaal is one of Bollywood’s most successful comedy franchises, backed by the blockbuster combination of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn.

The development means Fauzi will now lock horns with two major Hindi entertainers during the same release corridor. Besides Golmaal 5, Akshay Kumar’s untitled film directed by Anees Bazmee is also slated to arrive in the first week of December. While all three films cater to different audiences, they will compete for screens and footfalls across the Hindi market, making it one of the most closely watched box office clashes of the year.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi stars Prabhas alongside Imanvi in the lead roles, while Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Bhanu Chander, and Jayaprada play pivotal characters. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the film promises a grand cinematic experience across multiple Indian languages.
