PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says Luanshya has been revived through government efforts to restore economic activity in the Copperbelt town.
Speaking ahead of next week’s vote, Hichilema said the district is “back to life” due to government dedication to revamping economic activities.
“Luanshya is back. Back to life following our dedication to revamping economic activities for the district,” Hichilema wrote.
He pledged more infrastructure and economic projects, saying: “We shall do even more roads. Give life to more mines. Create more jobs. More business opportunities.”
Hichilema urged Luanshya residents to vote for the United Party for National Development – UPND in the by-election scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13.
“Mwebena Luanshya next week Thursday go and vote for the UPND so that together we can continue protecting the gains made this far,” he said.
“We love you. We care for you. We will continue delivering for you ba Luanshya on the Copperbelt. God Bless Luanshya.”
