State Rep. Austin McCollum, a four-term Republican lawmaker who appears to be the only official candidate in an upcoming election for Benton County judge, is in jail today on charges of domestic battery. So that’s probably going to be a problem for him.
The 35-year-old who’s enjoyed endorsements and attaboys from Gov. Sarah Sanders and Attorney General Tim Griffin was arrested in the wee hours Saturday on domestic battering charges.
