HARDROCK FC has appointed Tendai Alimenda as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Alimenda replaces Hove, who is currently serving a suspension imposed by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) following crowd violence which occured during Hardrock FC’s league match against Dynamos at Chahwanda Stadium in Kwekwe this May.
During the fracas, Hove was captured in a video assaulting a Dynamos fan, hence, PSL disciplinary committee found him guilty and suspended him from all football activities for six months.
Prior to his promotion, Alimenda was serving as an adminstrator of the Kwekwe-based outfit.
“Mr. Alimenda’s appointment marks a well deserved elevation from his previous role as Club Administrator, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism and commitment to the growth and development of Hardrock FC.
“The Club’s leadership is confident that his experience, institutional knowledge and vision will strengthen the club’s operations and drive its strategic objectives both on and off the field,” communicated Hardrock FC.
