Prayagraj: A man was arrested by Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) sleuths on the charges of preparing \ generating fake Aadhar cards in the city.The arrested person identified as Vivek Tripathi a resident of Dhoomanganj, was working as assistant regional project manager at a private firm. Following the arrest, an FIR under relevant sections was registered with cyber crime police station against Vivek and 11 others. Cops are looking for other operators.Police investigations revealed that a racket was involved in using remote access software to gain control of Aadhar operators’ computers, illegally logged into the UIDAI system, and subsequently carried out Aadhaar enrollment and update tasks.During investigations, cops received vital clues including whatsapp chats of operators and other details. The racket was operating in several districts of the state.====eom
