KYIV : The credentials were presented during an official ceremony held in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al Mahrouqi conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and His Majesty’s wishes for President Zelenskyy’s continued good health and success.
She also conveyed His Majesty’s wishes for security, stability and prosperity for the Ukrainian people, as well as further progress in cooperation and bilateral relations between Oman and Ukraine.
President Zelenskyy, in turn, asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
He wished His Majesty continued health and well-being and expressed his hopes for the Omani people’s continued progress and prosperity.
The Ukrainian President also expressed his desire to further strengthen relations between the two countries in a manner that serves their common interests and fulfils the aspirations of the Omani and Ukrainian peoples.
