A large-scale emergency power outage has occurred in the Sumy region.

According to Ukrinform, Sumyoblenergo reported this.

“We are facing a large-scale emergency power outage in part of the Sumy region. The cause is the consequences of systematic attacks by the Russian troops on energy facilities,” the statement reads.

The company added that utility services are working to restore electricity distribution.

As previously reported, on July 29, a Russian drone attacked a residential area in Hlukhiv, Sumy region, damaging an apartment building. Three people were injured, including two children.
