A third suspect has been arrested in a July 19 shooting in Little Rock that left one person dead and another injured, police said Monday.
Donovann Starks, 22, of Helena-West Helena faces a capital murder charge in the death of Otis Shavers, 55.
He was arrested Monday and was being held in the Pulaski County jail without bond, according to the jail’s online inmate roster.
Robert Fluker, 39, who was already jailed on drug, burglary and other crimes, was charged in the fatal shooting on July 21.
Kurterrious Williams, 21, was arrested in the shooting on Friday.
Fluker and Williams were also being held without bond.
Police responding to the shooting at the Eagle Suites Extended Stay Hotel at 9:27 p.m. July 19 found Shavers in a hotel room suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the chest.
Just outside, Kendrick Christopher, 38, was found suffering from gunshot wounds to the abdomen, police said.
Shavers died at the scene, and Christopher was taken to a hospital where he underwent surgery and was listed in stable condition, police said.
Security cameras captured video of two men wearing masks, dressed in black and carrying white bags getting out of a car that was parked at an apartment complex across the street from the hotel, police said.
A minor who had been across the street told police one man had stayed behind in the vehicle, a blue 2009 Acura MDX, as the other two men went into the hotel.
