The programme for the 33rd Belgrade Summer Festival (BELEF), which will run from 29 July to 13 August, will feature a series of concerts at Princess Ljubica’s Residence as part of the FMU at BELEF scheme and the festival’s main music programme, the organisers announced today.
As announced, pianist Ljubica Zdravkovska will perform on 29 July at 6 pm, violinist Nina Rakočević on 2 August, and soprano Olivera Gočanin will hold her concert on 12 August. The concert repertoire will include works by Robert Schumann, Maurice Ravel, Francis Poulenc, Henryk Wieniawski, Eugène Ysaÿe, Pablo de Sarasate, and other composers, Tanjug reports.
Bass-baritone Miodrag D. Jovanović and pianist Darinka Paunović will perform on 5 August at 8:30 pm. Their programme features works by Johannes Brahms, Frédéric Chopin, Modest Mussorgsky, Stevan Mokranjac, and Maurice Ravel.
An evening of Spanish and Neapolitan songs, featuring soprano Kristina Ašković accompanied by Tea Dimitrijević on piano, will take place on 13 August at 8:30 pm. The programme spans works of Spanish classical literature alongside renowned Neapolitan and Spanish songs.
Tickets for the concerts on 5 and 13 August are priced at 500 dinars, while admission to the “FMU at BELEF” concerts is free.
The 33rd BELEF programme is held under the auspices of the City of Belgrade and the Secretariat for Culture, organised by the Belgrade Festivals Centre (CEBEF).
