The colours, flavours, and warm spirit of Thailand return to the capital on Friday, 4 September 2026, as the Royal Thai Embassy proudly hosts Thai Market 2026 at the historic Písecká brána.
Organised alongside Team Thailand—comprising the Thai Trade Centre and the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Prague—this year’s flagship event is held in active cooperation with the Prague 6 Municipality.
“Thai Market has become a meaningful platform to bring Thailand closer to the Czech public through friendship, creativity, and people-to-people connections,” said H.E. Mr. Pichit Boonsud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic.
“This year, we are thrilled to celebrate Prague 6 Day with our Thai Market to show our true partnership with the local municipality. This event is a heartfelt cultural exchange and our way of actively engaging with the wonderful community that hosts us.”
Open to all ages with free admission, the event will offer a full day of authentic Thai experiences, from traditional cuisine and refreshing drinks such as Thai iced tea to popular desserts including Mango Sticky Rice and Thai tea ice cream.
Visitors can also take part in interactive workshops, including a mini Loy Krathong celebration with origami lotus basket-making, traditional Thai clothing photo sessions, and postcard design with Thai stickers.
The programme will also feature live stage performances, premium Thai products from Czech importers, traditional Thai massages, and activities where guests can win vouchers to spend at the event.
A dedicated tourism section will provide inspiration and information for those planning their next trip to Thailand. Thai Market 2026 promises to be a vibrant celebration of Thai culture, flavours, and community in the heart of Prague.
