Families looking to escape the summer heat will have even more opportunities to cool off at Garvan Woodland Gardens as the popular Splash Bash returns with an expanded weeklong schedule.
Beginning Saturday, July 25, and continuing through Saturday, Aug. 1, the Evans Children’s Adventure Garden will transform into a refreshing playground where kids can enjoy daily water activities while surrounded by one of Arkansas’ most scenic outdoor destinations.
This year, Splash Bash has grown from a one-day event into a full week of family-friendly fun, allowing visitors to stop by whenever it’s most convenient.
Children can cool off by running through sprinklers, splashing in interactive water features and playing with oversized beach balls throughout the Children’s Garden.
Beyond the water activities, families can explore more than 210 acres of botanical gardens featuring towering trees, shaded walking paths, waterfalls, woodland trails and scenic views overlooking Lake Hamilton.
Guests can also experience “Where the Wind Lives,” the internationally acclaimed art installation by Patrick Shearn of Poetic Kinetics, which has become one of the garden’s signature attractions.
Splash Bash is included with regular garden admission and memberships and will be available daily during normal operating hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Whether visitors are seeking a relaxing walk beneath the shade of the tree canopy or a fun-filled outing where children can play and cool off, Garvan Woodland Gardens offers a refreshing summer escape just minutes from downtown Hot Springs.
