The Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Macedonia has announced that a strike by customs officers at the Greek border crossings of Evzoni (Bogorodica), Doirani (Dojran), and Niki (Medžitlija) has been called for Monday, 27 July.

According to the statement, based on information received from the relevant Greek authorities, between 05.00 and 09.00 Macedonian time (06.00–10.00 Greek time), passenger vehicles will be allowed through every 10 minutes, whilst freight traffic will be completely suspended for both entering and leaving Greece.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Macedonia highlighted that it will take all necessary measures and deploy all human and technical resources available.
