Seven Vincentian Medical Students Graduate from Cuban Universities

Seven Vincentian Medical Professionals Graduate

This new cohort will return home with skills to advance national development.

July 22nd 2026, marked a special day for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as seven Vincentian professionals graduated from medical universities in the Republic of Cuba and will return home to serve the nation.

The graduates are:

Angelique Alfred- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine

Rayon James – – Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine

Daneel Mc Phy – Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine

Macello Scott – – Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine

Jayonne Tucker – Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine

Ria Edwards – Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Shwayi Neverson – Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

They completed studies in key fields critical to SVG’s development under the long-standing scholarship cooperation programme between the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Government of the Republic of Cuba. Their training in Cuba represents a direct investment in the health, education, and development of our people.
