This year’s event is expected to mark a significant shift by moving its focus toward AI capable of autonomous planning, tool coordination, and task execution, known as AI agents, a trend widely regarded as the next stage of global AI development.
The event is directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, organized by VnExpress, and supported by Vietnam National University Hanoi and FPT Online.
Now in its ninth year, the festival is recognized by industry professionals as contributing to narrowing the gap between AI research and real-world deployment in Vietnam, serving not only as a platform to showcase technology but also to drive practical AI adoption.
This year it seeks to creates space for businesses to introduce solutions, expand partnerships, and explore opportunities for product development, commercialization, networking, and attracting investment.
The event also contributes to realizing the goal of making AI a driver of growth in line with Resolution 57 on national science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

AI continues to be one of the fastest-growing fields in global technology.
In 2025, nine major technology corporations invested a combined $122 billion in AI.
Vietnam also ranks among the top 40 countries in terms of AI adoption rate, while the legal framework for the sector continues to be refined to support its development.
This year’s festival will feature an AI Summit, workshops, an exhibition, and competitions, bringing together representatives from government ministries and agencies, local authorities, technology companies, AI startups, research institutes, investment funds, and the broader tech community.
It targets students, engineers, programmers, and anyone interested in AI with activities centered on sharing trends, networking, and hands-on technology experiences.
The latest AI technologies and live demonstrations of applications will be on show and there will be workshops, thematic seminars, and discussion sessions exploring how AI can be applied to solve real-world problems.
Last year’s event, held at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, attracted more than 1,300 delegates and 50 local and international companies.
