The 2025 Population and Housing Census is picking up steam and heading into high gear as the plan is to have the process completed as quickly as possible.

With this in mind, the Census department is currently in the process of hiring 300 individuals to fulfill this National Service.

The exercise began late last year under the theme, Mapping the Present, Shaping the Future, and the plan going forward, particularly this festival season is to go on a national media blitz in a bid to sensitize the public on what to expect from the census team.

The general public is therefore being asked to cooperate with the census workers, who will be in uniform, with a valid census ID and letter of approval.
