Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the upgraded Mangalagiri railway station. Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, who is the Union Minister of State, and Minister Nara Lokesh were present at the time of the inauguration. In his address on this occasion, Lokesh said that Mangalagiri railway station has been upgraded under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
He criticised the YCP government for ignoring Amaravati and said that work on capital city is going fast under the coalition government. The minister made it clear that there was an intention to make Andhra Pradesh No.1 state.
The Minister said that development and welfare schemes continued unhindered in spite of financial difficulties. He added that no new industries came to Andhra Pradesh even in five years’ period of YCP rule and criticized its government for scaring off the entrepreneurs. He said that big investments are coming to Andhra Pradesh under the coalition government and that industries are coming to all parts of Andhra Pradesh.
