The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission has announced the 12 finalists who will compete in the 2026 Cavalier Rum Calypso Monarch competition during Antigua Carnival.

The finalists are Lyrical Reds, Queen Gee Bee, Lady Melody, Di Dacta, Peetron, King Zacari, Willie Wawa, Dr. Solo, Queen Thalia, Faithful, King Young Destroyer and King Fiah.

The Commission congratulated the performers on advancing to the finals, saying they will compete for the 2026 Calypso Monarch crown in what is expected to be an evening of high-quality performances.

The Calypso Monarch competition is one of the signature events of Antigua Carnival, showcasing original compositions that traditionally blend social commentary, storytelling and entertainment. The winner will succeed the reigning monarch and earn the prestigious national title for 2026.
