The club, established on April 28, currently operates English, Chinese, French, Korean, and Lao language groups, with plans to add Japanese and German.

Members have produced more than 70 multilingual public information videos introducing Hanoi police, promoting administrative reform and digital transformation, and explaining legal regulations and administrative procedures.

They also showcased Hanoi’s culture and landmarks.

The videos have been published on the Hanoi Department of Public Security’s media platforms, with several attracting thousands of interactions.

The club has also encouraged officers to improve their foreign language proficiency and confidence in communicating with the public and foreign nationals while strengthening collaboration across police units.

Under the direction of Major General Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, deputy director of the Hanoi Department of Public Security, the department’s Women’s Affairs Board is preparing a 2026-30 plan to further develop the foreign language club initiative.
